What this rejection means
Guideline 3.1.2 covers auto-renewable subscriptions, and reviewers look at the app, its paywall, its listing and its subscription settings together. A rejection can come from any of them.
What is at stake
The subscription screen is where conversion happens, so every change made to satisfy the reviewer also changes revenue. Getting both right at once matters.

Why it takes more than a quick fix
Apple's requirements for subscriptions are spread across several guidelines and settings, and they have to agree with each other and with the app.

Questions
Our paywall converts well. Do we have to change it?
Not necessarily all of it. The work is finding what the reviewer objects to and changing only that, while protecting what makes the paywall convert.
Can you guarantee approval?
No one outside Apple and Google can promise how a review will go. What we can do is find the real cause, remove what we can see would block approval and give the reviewer everything they need.
Do you need access to our accounts?
It helps, but it is your choice. We can work from screenshots, exports and a build, or with a limited role you add and remove yourself.
